Choc full of fun

A group of seriously dedicated historians from Bentleigh Probus Club took the opportunity between Victoria’s COVID lockdowns to visit the Chocolate Grove and History Centre at Carrum.

Five per cent of the group were deeply disappointed by the historical aspect of the visit, while 95% were deeply pleased by the chocolate aspect!

The proprietor of the centre was deeply pleased to host the Club and said they were the most enthusiastic group to ever visit his establishment… the constant ringing of the till bell was deeply deafening!

The group also visited the Dolphin Research Institute at Hastings where a most interesting lecture interspersed with some spectacular photos and video footage enlightened the group on the amazing diversity of life right on their doorstep in Western Port and Port Phillip Bay.

Education and chocolate made for a very enjoyable day out – highly recommended!
