Garden party

Members of the Probus Clubs of Darwin, Charles Darwin and Palmerston entered the 2018 Seniors’ Beautiful Garden Competition organised and hosted by Keep Australia Beautiful NT and Cota NT for Top End Seniors.

The competition and awards are held annually to appreciate, recognise and acknowledge seniors’ gardening efforts to beautify Darwin and Palmerston residential and rural gardens. Judging criteria covered maintenance, design, home safe and garden intent.

Congratulations to Probus Club members who featured among the winners with Beverley Aitken (Probus Club of Darwin) named the winner of the Small Garden category and Julie Booth (Probus Club of Palmerston) and Judy Wright (Probus Club of Charles Darwin) receiving highly commended awards for their gardening efforts.
