Probus Annual Bowls Gala Day

The Probus Annual Bowls Gala Day took place on 24 February at the Paraparaumu Beach Bowling Club with 96 players taking part from 5 Probus Clubs from around the district.
It was a lovely fine day for the event with lunch and afternoon tea provided. The winning triples team was from the Combined Probus Club of Paraparaumu who were awarded the trophy presented to the Probus Club of Kapiti Coast by Paraparaumu Rotary for the Annual Bowls Gala Competition to celebrate their 40 year anniversary in 2014.
The afternoon concluded with a raffle draw and a well earned drink from the bar.
