Yarrawonga getaway

Thirty-three members from the Probus Club of Nepean had a wonderful, interesting and fun-filled six-day getaway in Yarrawonga with Linga Longa Tours.

There was something to see every day at different places, including an old-time cinema and movie, street art, silo art, museums, art gallery, winery, plus a cruise on Lake Mulwala. Members also had fun and fellowship with a trivia night, hat parade, and prizes from the tour operators.

Club members were also recently in awe at the Nan Tien Buddhist Temple at Berkeley, near Wollongong. Members were given a tour and a talk explaining some of the principles of Buddhism and features of the main temple, then an origami lesson. Everyone enjoyed a very tasty vegetarian lunch.
