Kaiapoi Trip to Molesworth Station
In November 2019 a group of 29 members from the Probus Club of Kaiapoi, NZ had a 2 day trip through Molesworth Station.
Molesworth is a high country cattle station in a remote area in the upper middle South Island of New Zealand.
It is the largest farm in NZ covering 180,787 hectares reserve land stocking mostly Aberdeen Angus breed of cattle ---one cow per about 22 hectare.
Members traveled in two 4 wheel drive buses with a guide who gave them a very interesting and informative commentary.
The weather was kind and helped make their trip very enjoyable.
