Meetings

We meet at 10.00 on the third Tuesday of each month in the hall of the Blackburn Uniting Church, which is on the corner of Blackburn Road and The Avenue. (Melway 47, K10) This is a short walk from Blackburn Station and readily accessible by public transport.

Monthly meetings take the form of Committee reports on different aspects of the club's program to keep our members up to date, followed by morning tea and a chance to chat.  We then regroup to listen to the invited speaker.  The Meeting concludes at 12.00, when all members are welcome to join us for lunch at a nearby hotel.

 Happy Knitters

The ladies in the Craft group enjoy nothing more than the clicking of needles and some good conversation.  This is the result of their latest donation of knitted goods to The Cottage by the Sea, which provides a beach holiday for children who have never enjoyed this experience.  Ann Catchpole gratefully accepted 52 rugs, 38 mittens, 15 scarves, 19 beanies and one little teddy which will bring much pleasure to these deserving children.  A great effort Ladies!
