Probus Club of Cheltenham (NSW)

Welcome to our website

We hope the website will provide information about our Club which will stir your interest. If you think Probus membership could suit you please visit one of our regular meetings or join one of our outings.

Probus clubs aim to provide fellowship, social outings and a wide range of activities. Monthly meetings are held where members are informed on a variety of topics by special guest speakers. Above all we aim to be a relaxed and friendly group.

The Probus Club of Cheltenham Inc was formed in March 2005 by an amalgamation of two old established mens clubs, the Cheltenham Probus Club, formed in 1984 and the Probus Club of Northern Line Cheltenham, formed in 1986. In 2008 the Club became a mixed gender club . Current membership is approximately 75 and our annual membership fee is $25.00. There is a $10 joining fee.

We offer the opportunity to:

* Keep your mind active

* Make new friends

* Participate in a variety of outings , tours , walks and to explore Sydney with the Public Transport Travellers Group

* Hear interesting guest speakers

You may be asked to assist with the management of the Club at some stage and you would be welcome to promote new activities with Club members if you have a particular interest .

We meet on the third Wednesday of most months at 10.00am starting with the presentation by our guest speaker, followed by morning tea which provides a good opportunity to socialise and make new friends (Tea or coffee cost $2.50). We close by 12.00pm after a generally short formal meeting.

Cheltenham Probus Club is a mixed gender club and welcomes visitors and potential members to our meeting and events.
