A day of boules

Twenty members of the Probus Club of Fremantle braved a cool and windy day to enjoy a summer picnic and compete in a game of boules. 

Members gathered at Bicton Quarantine Park overlooking the Swan River. The strong south-westerly winds were no match for the warmth of fellowship. The group was pleased to include some new members who got to experience Probus at its best. 

The best was saved until the very end when heat winner Paddy Evelegh delivered the perfect bowl to roll up to and settle on the jack. His expression of joy and delight was a pleasure to witness. Thanks to social outings officers Eric and Megan Balzan for organising such a wonderful event.
