Unexpected Detour: From Daisy Hill to Mt Gravatt Lookout

For members of the Springwood Probus Club, the usual Wednesday walk in early December 2023, took an unexpected turn.

Due to Daisy Hill Forest being closed for a controlled burn, some resourceful members of the walking group decided to head to the Mt Gravatt lookout instead. Their route took them under the M1 motorway, continuing towards Griffith University before a rewarding uphill climb back to their starting point. To celebrate their successful detour, they finished the walk with a well-deserved coffee break.
