The Club began in June 2005 following an interest meeting under the auspices of Highton Rotary Club.
The Foundation Meeting was held at the Waurn Ponds Hotel on 22nd June with 45 members appointing the late Tom Pamphlett as the Foundation President.
In 2007, the Club Banner, designed by the late Bob Tantau, was inveiled and the Club Lectern, created by Laurie Lowndes, was presented in 2008.
The Club is now in its 20th year with membership always at or near its maximum limit, monthly meetings and interest groups active and well-attended, and regular trips, tours and caravan and cabin camps throughout the year.
