The Glenorchy Probus Club Combined Inc celebrated its 25th anniversary at a special luncheon held at the Glenorchy Masonic Centre.
We are an active, vibrant club and we are growing. Rosalie Marine, president of our sponsor club, Glenorchy Rotary, assisted our president Sybil Churchill with the induction of five new members, and our anniversary was a proud moment for all concerned.
One of our club’s initiatives is to share at each meeting the life stories of one or two members. In this way we appreciate one another so much more.
At the luncheon, club secretary Jessie Bugg (right) shared the heroic story of member Audrey Pointer’s (left) involvement in the Battle of Britain.
