Info day at Sherwood

Sherwood Probus Club invited members of the local community to attend a meeting to see what a Probus Club is all about.  

Ten people responded. Committee and group leaders each introduced themselves and explained the role each play in the operation of the club.

For added interest, the Guest Speaker was a local, Paul Roobottom, the Manager and Operator of the Regal Cinema at Graceville. He spoke of his family’s long connection with the theatre and the challenges faced working with the latest technology. Several visitors went home with application forms, and we look forward to welcoming them to our club.
