New Woman

The Museum of Brisbane has an exhibition, titled New Woman, that looks at the role of often-overlooked female artists in the local art scene. The story starts in the 1920s with work from artists Daphne Mayo and heads right up to the present with world-leading works from Tracey Moffatt and Davida Allen.

Enlighten Festival

Canberra will light up with ideas and actual illuminations at this massive cultural event in March. The Parliamentary Triangle and city precinct will be transformed into a vibrant arts precinct with free performances and exclusive events. Meanwhile, the city’s buildings will be awash with architectural projections at the Enlighten Illuminations before with access to the national attraction at night.
