Day trips for the Probus Club of Fingal Bay often involve inspection of wineries, restaurants, country life, even horses, all a vital part of the Hunter Valley region. 

Recently Fingal Bay Probus was privileged to be the first group to be shown round the Newcastle Coal Infrastructure Group coal terminal on Kooroogang Island, and what a fascinating and informative experience it was.

The entire site surprised everyone with its neatness and cleanliness. Environment Adviser Phil Reid’s warm welcome led to an excellent presentation of the hows and whys of NCIG and it seems the success of this visit will promote many more to follow.
