A round trip from Adelaide to Lakes Entrance

Tea Tree Gully Probus Club recently completed a round trip from Adelaide to Lakes Entrance.

Ballarat was the first overnight stop before travelling via Melbourne with interesting stops at Morwell before going on to Lakes Entrance.

Upon arrival, a visit to Australia’s largest shell museum and a catamaran cruise on Lake King were some of many interesting outings that members enjoyed. Highlights also included visiting the Bega Cheese Heritage Centre, as well as the beautiful Batemans Bay.

The two days homeward via Barossa Valley were tiring but made extremely interesting by the tour driver.

All enjoyed the trip and made members very aware of the current dry climate of South Australia.
