Three in one

The Probus Club of Ballarat South enjoyed a ‘three in one’ excursion close to home.

Twenty-five Club members travelled to Spring Park Nursery at Eganstown in the morning. The owners provided members with cuppas and treats before telling the story of their family nursery and answering lots of questions on gardening.

Members then adjourned to the Swiss Mountain Hotel at Blampied for lunch. The hotel opened especially for the Club and served yummy meals.

The final stop was at Overwrought Sculpture Gallery nearby. It was interesting for members to learn all about their business and the staff they employ. The sculptures are wonderful, so varied and so interesting. They also sell lots of artisan works and Australian made products. Some members also enjoyed coffees and snacks there afterwards.
