Touring the Abrolhos Islands

A group of 26 Probians from the Claremont Swanbourne Probus Club recently made the five-day trip to the Abrolhos Islands on the very comfortable ship “Eco Abrolhos”.

There was an incredible combination of history talks and site visits to the scene of the Batavia wreck and the subsequent mutiny, along with fishing, crayfishing (fresh fish each day on the menu), snorkelling, swimming with the local seals, bird watching, exploring small islands by day and fun nights. Looked after by an extremely friendly and helpful crew, we can’t recommend the trip enough.
