Wonthaggi and District Combined Probus Club recently hosted its annual Friendship Day at the Wonthaggi Workmens Club.

Club President Mike Adams declared the function an outstanding success with more than 140 Probus Club members from district clubs in attendance, including members from Andersons Inlet, Corinella, Cowes, Foster, Inverloch, Phillip Island, San Remo and Wonthaggi/Inverloch.

Local singing group, Golden Girls, sang the Wonthaggi Probus Club song, which had been composed especially for the event. Entertainment also included renowned Jazz singer Patsy O’Neil and her band of excellent local musicians.

The Club would especially like to thank the Management and Staff of the Wonthaggi

Workmens Club for their support and generous donation of the use of their main function room.
