A fun visual arts group outing

Members of the Visual Arts group at Newmarket Probus Club recently visited the beautiful Auckland Art Gallery to view the Modern Art Exhibition from the Toledo Museum of Art.
A recent 2025 national survey had voted this Art Museum the best in the USA. The Museum was founded in 1901 through public donations and early support from Toledoans. Ohio itself was known as the "Glass City" in the 1880’s due to its many glass manufacturing activities.
Their group was shown specific gallery exhibits by a guide, whom they had booked for an hour and, whilst there was so much more to see and learn, an hour was long enough. The group would recommend this exhibition to any of fellow Probus members interested in art.
