NSW SENIORS FESTIVAL EXPO – MEDIA LAUNCH

Ten proud New South Wales Probus members were invited to the launch of The 2019 NSW Senior Festival and Expo. The Festival will be held at the International Convention Centre between 13-24 February 2019.
The theme of the Festival is “Love your Life” and our members actively participated in all of the sponsors’ activities on the day. All while being photographed by the media.
They tried their hand at golf putting with Golf Australia, Omron checked their blood pressure and taught them some very effective and simple exercises using the Thera exercise resistance bands; they were obviously having fun by their laughter.
The NSW Fire + Rescue men and women gave our members some great tips for keeping fire safe and had some interesting stories to tell about the recent American firestorms. Fire + Rescue are happy to come to your Club as a Guest Speaker.
Some of our members were delighted to be involved with the beautiful and very well-behaved RSPCA “adoption” dogs, lots of pats and cuddles. The RSPCA has set up a wonderful program for seniors to help them when they can no longer care for their pets. Looking for an interesting Guest Speaker, give them a call.
Marina Prior and Adam Brand, two very talented and friendly entertainers happily chatted and posed for photographs with our members. Marina and Adam will be two of the performers at the Festival Concerts. Make sure you get your tickets.
Media coverage of Probus was high so the message of Fun, Friendship and Fellowship will be out there to tell all those over 55 how great being a part of a Probus Club can be.
Our ten members did an excellent job of spreading the word about Probus as there were many enquiries from the media and the sponsors about our organisation.
Probus South Pacific Team will be at the 2019 NSW Seniors Festival showcasing what Probus is all about.
