In search of art deco
24 Sep 2025
Members from Launceston Probus Club rugged up and enjoyed a brisk walk around the Launceston CBD recently.
The group were observing the heritage of the city and particularly the many examples of art deco architecture.
The group noted the prominent Holyman House, a 1936 building, showcased sleek curves and futuristic design, originally housing Holyman’s shipping and aviation interests.
It was a fun day overall despite the chilly weather.
