The club organises Public Transport outings every 3rd Tuesday of the month and lunch on 4th Tuesday of month, own transport
Tuesday 20/02/2024 – Manly - Meet at Circular Quay to catch 10.30 ferry arriving 10.52. Stroll down the Corso to the Steyne Hotel (or similar) for lunch. After lunch get a coffee and either watch the waves and sip your coffee or have a walk along the promenade – Shelley Beach isn't too far. Return by ferry to Circular Quay.
Tuesday 27/02/24 – Bistro8 at Chester Hill RSL – 20 Chester Hill Road, Chester Hill, 4 minute walk from Chesterhill Station - lunch – massive variety of Asian and Western cuisine at extremely good prices.
Tuesday 19/03/23 – State Library 6 Must see Exhibitions – Shot 400 photos 200 Aust photographers 1845 to present; Wadgayawa Nhay Dhadjan Wari 30 significant Aboriginal objects 200 years old plus; Action: Film and War – film to document romote Aust Military History from before WWI till today; Charles Rodius colonial artist - drawings, water colour prints from approx 200 years ago; Nikon-Walkley Press Photography exhibition for excellence in Journalism; Lunch in the Library cafe.
Tuesday 26/03/2024 – Merrylands RSL, 8 Miller Street, Merrylands, for lunch at Sage 2160 Bistro – usual favourite club food plus Asian food. Only Club members can park in car park. Not much parking around there. Easy walk from Merrylands Station or outside station, catch 804/802/806 bus, ride 1 stop.
Tuesday 21/05/24 – 11.30 Opera House Mobility Tour – 6 members had a very interesting tour of the inside of the Opera House.with Zoe, the guide. They have improved the inside by adding a lift and making space for wheelchairs in the Concert Hall and also improved the sound to world class.
Tuesday 28/05/24 – Auburn Tennis Club – lunch at 12 noon
Tuesday 11/6/24 after meeting Auburn Probus's 35th Birthday lunch (lunch at own expense) cake supplied.
Tuesday 18/06/24 – Hyde Park Barracks Museum – free – (Very close to St; James Station) Meet inside courtyard 10.30 – Headphones available or bring your own as people from the past talk to you (convicts, immigrants, native people). It is a very interesting museum and has lifts. Lunch venue to be organised.
Tuesday 16/07/ 24 – Rivercat to Abbotsford for lunch at Sydney Rowing Club Meet at Circular Quay to catch the 11.07 ferry to Abbotsford arr 11.44 and then a short walk to Club. Return by Rivercat to Olympic Park Ferry wharf (ferries 4,24 and 44 minutes past hour), 526 bus (towards Burwood) to Olympic Park train station, train to Lidcombe and home.
Tuesday 20/08/2024 - Coogee - 7 Members enjoyed a light rail ride, bus ride and a delicious lunch at the Coogee Legions Club. The weather was perfect.

Tuesday 17/09/2024 – Riding the new Metro – Meet at Central Station Platform 26 to catch the 10.15 am metro towardsTallawong to Rouse Hill for lunch, stopping at a station along the way for a cup of coffee.
Tuesday 24/09/2024 – Scenic World, Katoomba – Meet in time for 9.13 train on Platform 2 at Parramatta arr 10.32 Katoomba. 10.45 am bus 686 to Scenic World arr 10.57. Ticket $54 all day includes scenic railway, walkway, cableway and skyway.
Tuesday 22/10/2024 - Riverboat Postman – 5 members and friends enjoyed beautiful weather on the river cruise and a delicious lunch.
Tuesday 19/11/2024 – Ettalong Diggers for lunch - Please meet Platform 3 Strathfield Station in time to catch 9.58 am train to Woy Woy Arrive Woy Woy 11.01 am. Catch 11.15 Bus 53 from stand C arrive Ettalong Public school 11.24 walk 3 minutes to Club. Right at beach so can have a stroll along beach. Return on train 13.45 or 14.13 pm, arriving Strathfield 14.46 or 15.16 pm.
Wednesday 20/11/2024 – Dooley's bus outing to CareFlight base at Westmead. The bus leaves from Dooleys Lidcombe at 9.30 am and continues to the Auburn Tennis Club to pick up more passengers. After the CareFlight base, we will go to lunch. Lunch venue yet to be decided. Limited seats. Please book in advance.
Tuesday 21/01/2025 - public transport trip to Springwood – Meet Platform 2, Parramatta Station in time to catch 10.34 am train which arrives 11.29 am. Lunch at hotel opposite station. Train home departs 1.55 pm arriving at Parramatta 2.52 pm or Strathfield 3.05 pm.
