PRESIDENT’S REPORT
We have had some lovely Autumn days to enjoy, but now we are into the Winter months, so rug up and keep warm.
Thank you to those members who offered to be Buddies for visitors to our club.
After our Guest Speaker for May (Barbara Galvin from Shirly Shuttle), we had time for two of our members to speak about their life. How interesting they both were. Paul Logan, (Our past Secretary), what an interesting life he has had.
I’m sure there must be other members who have some great stories to tell. We would love to hear them when time permits.
FOR THE JUNE GENERAL MEETING ONLY.
We have a new venue. As our normal Meeting Room is having new Carpet put down, we will be moved to the TASMAN ROOM, down stairs near the Auditorium. If you are unsure where to go, ask at Reception and they will point you in the right direction. Also there is a Lift if you can’t use the stairs.

PAYMENTS DUE THIS MONTH
Buttai barn must be paid at May meeting for Tues 23 July. $85 includes Xmas lunch and entertainment at an excellent venue.

Tram tour of Newcastle,$25
All payments are to be made prior to the meeting. No payments will be accepted after morning tea break as payments and monies need to be reconciled.

Payments required on the day should be placed in an envelope with your name and the amount of money and the name of the event. This should be given to those handling the money at our activities table, then your receipt will be given to you at morning tea.
If you are aware that a member is not well, please let Gillian Sloane know ASAP. Don’t wait until the next meeting.
