Bankfoot House and Cobb and Co
Our September outing was a very successful visit to Bankfoot House and Cobb and Co at Glass House. After a delicious home-style lunch at Cobb and Co, we were given an extgremely interesting insight into Cobb and Co history by Steve, who also told many interesting and humorous anecdotes of his life experiences.

Outback Spectacular Tour
In August 2022, 27 members enjoyed a two day coach trip with Mystic Mountain Tours. We headed off to Mt Tamborine where we had fun exploring and shopping at the gift shops and had time for a relaxing lunch before travelling to our overnight accommodation at Mantra Sharks, Southport. After time for a nap and refreshing, we were taken to Australian Outback Spectacular. The back-stage tour was very interesting and the show was wonderful. The following day we returned home via Redcliffe to see the Beegees’ Way and enjoy a casual lunch and walk.

Maroochy Bushland Botanic Garden
After having to cancel our planned outing to Maroochy Bushland Botanic Garden several times due to wet weather or Covid, we eventually made it on a lovely, fine day in June 2022. We were given an excellent guided tour by one of the volunteers and then enjoyed a delicious morning tea at the Compass Cafe.
