We have an interesting and informative program of guest speakers for our monthly meetings:

1 June 2021 Val Oldfield Local author of No Beating About The Bush, her personal story of being a new bride on Mungeranie Station, a remote cattle property on the Birdsville Track.


The Mayor of the City of Mitcham, Heather Holmes-Ross was guest speaker at our October meeting, providing a great insight into Council's priorities, particularly in sustainability and supporting local businesses.

And at our latest meeting in November, Christine Garnaut, gave us an interesting presentation on the history of Colonel Light Gardens and the role of Town Planner Charles Reade and the Garden City Movement.
