The Probus Club of Croydon Inc. was established by The Rotary Club of Croydon on 6th June 1984.
Originally the club consisted of only male members.
In 2005 the committee of management and members decided that the membership should be open
to both genders and subsequently ladies were inducted into the club from September 2005.
In 2022 The Ladies Probus Club of Croydon merged with the Combined Probus Club of Croydon, resulting in the new name of The Probus Club of Croydon Inc.
