April 2025 saw the Club’s photography group ventured on a historical walk through the Old Marion Village.  The walk was well marked with tiled information on the pavement about the history spots along the way.

The Club also enjoyed a ROMEO luncheon at the Crown Hotel at Old Reynella.  Our Morning Coffee Group gathering was well attended at the Honey Bee Cafe at the Hub.

Here are the photos from these activities.

During the month of March 2025, the club had a photography outing to the Botanical Gardens in the City to see the World renowned glass sculpture artist, Dale Chihuly Exhibition.  Despite the only wet day for the year so far, the Club members enjoyed Dale’s magnificent artwork along with many overseas tourists (mainly French) visiting Adelaide and the glass exhibition.

The Club also held its Annual BBQ in March.  It was well attended and everyone enjoyed their meal and the surprise cake for sweets.  Well done Trevor and Christine for organising this and thank you to the cooks, Bill, Malcolm, Gerry and Joan

In February 2025 the Photography Group did a historical walk along Tyne Street North Adelaide.  The group saw historical buildings and learnt about the early periods of the colony in this area north of Adelaide.  Here are some photos to reflect on the past.

Below are photos from the Club’s outings in recent times showing the sharing of fun and friendship experiences by the members of the Probus Club of Flagstaff Hill.

In January 2025 the Club had several different outings.  The Photography group visited the newly open Witton Bluff Base Trail Boardwalk at Port Noarlunga.  The walking group walked along the esplanade between the Broadway and Glenelg.  Our ROMEO lunch this month was at the Vines Golf Club.  Our activity outing was to the Bay Discovery Centre at Glenelg, followed by lunch at the Glenelg SLSC.  Here are some photos of the experiences felt by members from these activities.

In December 2024 the Club held its annual Christmas Dinner at the Woodcroft Tavern.  Here are some photos to reflect on the celebration and atmosphere of the enjoyable luncheon and company.

During December 2024, the Club’s Walking Group travelled along the seaside from Somerton Park SLSC to Glenelg Broadway Kiosk, with an unexpected guest.
