Mawson Lakes Probus Club original Constitution was adopted 13 March 2020 with the Club Incorporated on 15 March 2021.
It is currently seeking new members to participate in ideas to innovate and improve club membership, come up with ideas for social outings and to improve communication with members. The club is for retired or semi-retired people from all walks of life. Diversity is welcome.

The name Probus was dervived from PROfessional and BUSiness. The Latin word Probus means honest and virtuous, from which the English word probity was derived. Probus was formed in the UK in 1965 and in Australia in 1976.
