2023 Christmas dinner
A splendid Christmas Lunch at Kadina’s Wombat Hotel on Monday December 4th. concluded this Calendar Year for Moonta & District Probus Club members.
With only a handful of apologies it was extremely well attended and “Emceed” by President Richard Herbert, ably assisted by his wife Kate and Dulcie Barker.
Dulcie had provided some Christmas Gift baskets at the meal’s conclusion and the various winners of this raffle were all smiles.
December birthday folk, Gwen Elsworthy, Jan Oxley, Mary Greven and Malcolm Coleman along with Anniversary couple, Doug and Judy Warmington, gained mention in the Club Newsletter.
Pres. Richard penned a merry and joyful message for Christmas and New Year to all members.
Richard Bastian made note that 32 members are attending the Northern Festival Theatre on December 20th. to hear the “Big Band Bash” from SA’s premier “semi-pro” jazz orchestra and special guest artists.
Next Club meeting is on Monday January 8th. 2024 to hear a Representative from the RAA motorist organization. A BYO finger food shared lunch will follow that meeting.
