MEETINGS

 

Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month from February through to November. 

We do not meet in January.

The Annual General Meeting second Wednesday each March.

Venue:

New Town Bay Rowing Centre Function Facilities

5 Marine Esplanade, 

NEW TOWN.

The Business Meeting  starts at 10.00am and runs to 10.30am.

Morning Tea Break   from 10.30 to 11.00am.

Guest Speaker begins at 11.00am and generally talks to around 11.45am with time for questions if appropriate.

The meeting closes at 12noon.

The Venue has:

• Ample free parking
• Lift access for those with limited mobility
• Spectacular views across the River Derwent
• has kitchen and bar facilities if required
• Tables and seating for up to 200 persons
• is bright and has air flow from opening balcony doors

Library

We have an extensive library available at our meeting.   Books of all genres are there for members to donate, loan or borrow and return at their leisure.   This is available free of charge on an honesty system basis.
