OUR HISTORY

Parktone Probus Club was founded in December 1994 under the auspicies of Rotary and we still have 7 Foundation Members involved in the club today. 

The driving force behind the inception of Parktone probus was Jack Davidson. Jack was a former mayor, councillor,and has the bistro at Mordy HQ named in his honour. "Jack's Room"

Jack Davidson was our first President and then again in 2000.

December 2023 is when we celebrate our 28th Birthday.  We have a celebration morning tea, with Birthday Cake,  to commemorate our special Birthday event.

Our club has a membership of 54 members havin lost 30 members during covid 2021/2022.. Testament to the members and leadership of our club over the years we are attracting some intrest from new members in 2024. 

Parktone Probus is very encouraged by the intrest of new members wishing to join our great club.
