The Probus Club of Port Phillip is a community of retired and semi-retired people from the professions, business and other vocations who enjoy fun and friendship and share intellectual, social and cultural interests.

Members appreciate and value opportunities to meet new friends, enjoy presentations from guest speakers on topical subjects, visit interesting places both locally and as Getaways, and attend coffee and conversation gatherings.

Susal Harraway our President for 2023-2024 has the following message:

Our Probus Club was established in 1986, sponsored by Melbourne Rotary. Our members come from a number of suburbs across Melbourne - including Hawthorn, Kew, Balwyn, Camberwell, Toorak, Doncaster, Brighton. We meet once a month at Kew Golf Club where we have a meeting followed by an interesting speaker with time for questions. Then most people stay for the delicious lunch.
We aim to meet new friends and to enjoy each others company. Other activities are monthly visits to places of interest with occasional walks and Coffee& Conversation where we discuss a selected topic led by one of our members.
We have two getaways a year which is another way to get to know each other. This year we are looking forward to a mini getaway in Shepparton soon and five days in Hobart in November where a varied program of sight seeing is being finalised.
It is a relaxed and friendly Club and we welcome people to contact us and arrange to visit on the second  Tuesday of the month.
