We will have another outing on Monday 27th July, same place so bring your chairs & byo lunch and we can catch up ones again.

Hopefuly we will be able to have our meeting at Warilla Boeling Club in August. We will keep you posted.   Stay well.

Sorry I have not been on site for ages, no excuse but like everything else i will blame Covid haha, not that that has been funny quite the oposite.

Thanks to Wendy & Jannette we have been have been meeting for monthly picnics down by the lake foreshore and with great success with 30 or so members turning up having a great time and catching up.

Our meetings at the Warilla Bowling club started back in October with Covid rules in place, not like our old meetings but still good to meetup.

Warilla Bowling club were allowed to put on a lovely Christmas luncheon for us, food was delicious as always. Lots of lucky door prizes and chocolates. A great way to finish a troubled year.  Thank you Val Switzer  for your lucky door prizes and hard work.

On a sadder note we lost a wonderful friend in Frank Wunderlich, A member who did well in all the roles he had as a member.

Some members have left the club but we have gained a few more members. We will miss and always remember Jean Hogan who felt it time to resign, We all wish Jean happiness & good health.

Unfortunately A cruise & holiday to Jindybyne had to be cancede due to Covid throughout the year, we do trust & hope that our holiday to Merimbulla will go ahead in May as planned.

Hopefully as long as there is no lockdown due to Covid we be having a Christmas in July at Warilla Bowling club.

2023 was a great year after a lot of disruption with Covid/      We still managed a few picnics in 2022 but meeting were limited due to Covid.

We manages to have lovely outings each month in 2023 visiting new places to eat , drink & chat.

Our meetinsg were interesting although numbers are small, hope that increases as time goes by.

Our quest speakers have been interesting.

Our Presiden Burnadette Roberts passed away after a long illness and we were sad for Paul her husband and her family.

Vice Bruce Hocking took over   as President until  Ian Lumb look over as president in 2023 AGM.

Easter, Mothers Day, Fathers Day, Club Birthday Party & Christmas luncheon were brilliant thanks to a lot of organising by Sue Dawson    We have been averaging 30 people at our monthly meetings.

January 2023

Since Covid we have returned to having great fellowship and a monthly lunch to a recomended venue, Holidays have been put on hold as now our group is older and getting more difficult for travelling. Our meeting bring around 45 -50 members that seem to enjoy a smaller club.

Like ever club we have lost many members since covid due to bad health or being deceased. many cannot get to meetings but our Monthly news letter gets to these folk who are still interested in whats goin on.

At present, Our president Bernadetter Roberts is very unwell and unable to conduct meetings and 1st vice president Bruce Hocking is filling that role until voting at AGM in March of this year.

Most of our members have coffee or lunch together after our meeting in the Bistro of Warilla Bowling Club.

We are very grateful that Warilla Bowling club provide a meeting room free of charge.

We had a most wonderful Christmas Lunch at Warilla Bowling Club in December with lots of lovely lucky doorprizes and good food.

Our entertainment committee lead by Sue Dawson give us a variety of place  to have our monthly lunches and we have around 30 members & friends join us .

We are holding a Committee on the 6th February. One week before our Februsry meeting.

Our Historian keeps a good record of photos of places visited, new members. ect

We have good guest speakers each month that give us all an oportunity to learn more of  what is happening in the workplace & programs for us elderly.
