HISTORY
St Clair Probus Club, is a not-for-profit club with an aim to provide fun, friendship and socialisation for retired men and women in our community.
We were initially formed on 19th September 2024 at Cook Parade Community Hall, St Clair, after an expression of interest meeting.
The club became incorporated on 30th September 2024 to protect its members and organising committee.
Members were asked to make suggestions for special groups to be formed and after a few months we were able to organise and run those groups in a friendly and helpful environment.
These activities include a walking group, coffee & chat mornings, board & card games, craft / knitting, / crochet & sewing group, 10 Pin Bowling group, and organised outings etc.
Having outgrown our meeting venue in the first few months, we now meet at St Marys Band Club on the Great Western Highway, in St Marys, at 10:30am on the third Monday of each month.
We invite guest speakers to each meeting and enjoy a chat afterwards when most members go down for lunch.
