The Club began in Jun
e 2005 following an interest meeting under the auspices of Highton Rotary Club.
The Foundation Meeting was held at the Waurn Ponds Hotel on 22nd June with 45 members appointing the late Tom Pamphlett as the Foundation President.
In 2007, the Club Banner, designed by the late Bob Tantau, was inveiled and the Club Lectern, created by Laurie Lowndes, was presented in 2008.
The Club is now in its 21st year with monthly meetings, active and well-attended interest groups, and regular trips, tours and caravan and cabin camps throughout the year. Our emphasis continues to be on fun and friendship in retirement, and not on work or fund-raising.
