30th Birthday Celebration Luncheon

We have recently celebrated our 30th Birthday since the club was founded by the Rotary Club of Burnside in 1986. 59 members attended the Celebration Luncheon at Damien's Restaurant, Living Choice, Fisher Street, Fullaraton, and were entertained by "The 60 Four", a talented group of singers - arts students and graduates from Scotch College.
14 past Presidents were acknowledged for their contribution towards the club, and still attend our meetings.
10 of those attended the Birthday celebrations and were presented with a pretty posy of flowers.

Our inaugural President Helen Cater, who is 102 years old now, sent apologies.
Helen, former Sunday Mail Columnist, is remembered in Adelaide for promoting the "Sunday Mail Blanket Appeal" in the 1950's - helping hundreds of people living in poverty to sleep under a warm blanket.
