Ashburton Ladies Probus Club celebrated their 25th anniversary in March 2012.

At a special AGM in the Ashburton MSA, with 74 members and invited guests, President May gave her annual report and Treasurer Jackie presented the financial statement. NSIPA representative Gwen Clucas took the chair for the Election of Officers and the incoming President Rona was presented with her badge and chain.

After a social period, two life members were given sprays, then lunch was served.  Our speaker was Rev Rachel Judge who told us of her family visit to Waitangi for the Waitangi Day celebrations, a very different view to what is shown by the new media. Two life members, Iris Officer-Holmes and Mary Ward (pictured), cut the cake that was enjoyed by all with tea and coffee.
