This is a Combined Probus Club, welcoming both male and female members.

Our Club draws the majority of its members from the 3216 suburbs of Geelong, Victoria, which include Belmont, Grovedale, Highton, and Wandana Heights.  Some of our membes also come from Newtown, Bell Post Hill, Hamlyn Heights and the newly created Geelong suburbs of Armstrong Creek and Mount Duneed.

We meet monthly at 10 a.m. on the 2nd Wednesday of each month (excepting December) at the Waurn Ponds Hotel. Our meetings finish at 12 noon with a break for morning tea at approimately 10.30 a.m. and generally followed by a Guest Speaker. Optional lunch is available at the Hotel from noon.

Apart from our Monthly General Meetings which include Guest Speakers, throughout the year, we may also have 'Themed' General Meetings such 'Anzac Day' 'Valentine's Day', 'Cup' Days, etc. These are aimed to bring fun to the meetings and to provide opportunities for interacion between members.

  • Membership of the Club are primarily for the residents of the Belmont, Highton, Grovedale Districts, but is not limited to people who live in these areas. We have members from all of Geelong’s Suburbs and the surrounding district.
  • Our Club was established 15 years ago and has retained more than 40% of its Foundation Members which speaks for itself. Fun, friendship and commaraderie is what matters to us most along with activities to keep us fit and others to keep us engaged. We are very proud of our Club and believe it is one of the friendliest and welcoming Clubs in Geelong.
