Music afternoons

We are blessed to have the very talented Barry to organise music afternoons four times a year. As well as having an extensive library of CDs covering a wide range of music genres, Barry's knowledge of music and composers is both extensive and interesting. Sometimes we have the added pleasure of Bob's accompaniment to a wonderful sing-a-long!

We contribute $2 to cover the cost of the Church hire, and bring a plate of food and to be served with tea and coffee during interval.

Our November music afternoon had a Christmas theme and we enjoyed Barry's presentation of Christmas music. We also enjoyed singing Christmas Carols. As a special treat, it was also the world premiere of a song Bob composed and wrote the lyrics for. Here he is explaining how he came to write it, and introduced Shirley who would narrate it.
