Club Membership:-

Our Probus Club often has a membership waiting list.

Membership is generally available to retired or semi-retired men and women who are interested in joining an active club which has monthly meetings and various other activities. To become a club member, prospective members are required to attend three meetings before being considered for membership and invited to join.

The joining fee is $20 per person plus an annual fee of $50 per person due on April 1st each year, pro-rated at the time of joining.

Members are requested to pay $5 per person at each meeting to assist in offsetting the cost of room hire and refreshments.

Visitors to our Club:-

While waiting to have their application for membership assessed, visitors to our club are most welcome to attend club meetings and to participate in our club social activities and other functions. Visitors need to contact our membership officer to ensure that we have sufficient available seating for guests.

During their pre-membership period and if on the club waiting list, club visitors are welcome to receive our club monthly newsletter and any updates on club activites, both of which are available on this website and will be sent via email.

Meetings Format:-

The monthly meetings consist of a club business session, morning tea, followed by an interesting  guest speaker. As a general rule the club meeting finishes at 12.00 noon after which there is an opportunity for members to mix socially over lunch if they so wish.

Club Activities:-

Activities consist of monthly day outings to places of interest and participation in a number of Special Interest and Social Groups preliminary details of which can be found on this website.

Club History:-

Our club was formed during the latter part of 2012 to meet the increasing demand for Probus Clubs in the greater Forest area on Sydney’s northern beaches. Although there already exist several other Probus Clubs in the Forest area, the Forest-Belrose Club was established to meet the community need for more mixed gender clubs.
