Our next meeting is at 10.30 on Monday 12 April.  The speaker will be Dennis Dyer who will talk about snakes and pythons in particular and how they have come to be such good pets.  He speaks with authority as he keeps several in his home!

The meeting is held on the second Monday of each month at the Gungahlin Lakes Golf Club, Nicholls - part of the Ainslie Group.  We meet in a large conference room and lunch can always be enjoyed after the meeting in the Lakes Restaurant overlooking the golf course.

The first half hour of the meeting covers a regular format to inform members about birthdays, welfare, membership, finances, and upcoming activities including trips away.  There is then a break for morning tea, before our invited speaker at 11am.

Speakers in 2019 included:

  • Jim Bariesheff from Caring for the Environment Today for Tomorrow's Future, who presented information on European Wasps;
