Welcome to the Combined Probus Club of Helensburgh & District Inc. The club is a not-for-profit organisation of retired and semi-retired people seeking Friendship, Fellowship and Fun. Most club members live in the northern Illawarra or southern suburbs of Sydney, with a small number living a bit further afield.

The club began with 21 foundation members in February-March 2004. From the outset, membership was capped at 100 members, with no more than 60 of the same gender.

The club is very active, with monthly general meetings, including a guest speaker, and a variety of options which include bowls, golf, walks followed by lunch, garden or exhibition visits, coach trips, overseas trips and cruises. Further details are provided on other pages of this web site.

Apart from enjoying good times together, members care about each other's welfare and keep an eye out for their fellow members in times of illness or other adversity. 

In addition to the many organised Probus activities and welfare updates, many members form strong friendships which also take them on other (non-Probus) adventures together. Some have become close friends for life.
