The Ipswich Probus Club began in 1983 and is a social club for retired and semi-retired business and professional men and women and their partners.
The Ipswich Probus Club gives social opportunities to meet with old friends and new, enjoy a range of activities and outings, discover new interests and find unlimited possibilities in retirement.
All this packed with the Probus core values of Fun, Freindship and Fellowship.
OUR MEETINGS
- Day: 2nd Monday of each month (not January)
- Time: 9.45am to noon
- Where: North Ipswich Bowls Clubhouse, Pine Street, North Ipswich, Qld
Each monthly meeting offers members the opportunity to
- listen to a Guest Speaker
- share morning tea (free)
- be part of a short meeting
- hear a Club member speak on an interesting topic of their choice
- after the meeting (for those who wish to attend) we gather at a local restaurant for lunch (own cost).
MEMBERS
Visitors are always welcome. Come and be our guest for a couple of meetings while deciding if you would like to continue and become a member.
OUTINGS
Varied and interesting outings are organized each month with activities ranging from a local BBQ to travelling near and far to interesting venues, events and attractions.
