The Club provides a full calendar of events, walks, movie afternoons, lunches, travel opportunities and activities for members. Our December meeting takes the form of a Christmas lunch.

Activities are advertised through the general meetings, the newsletter and this website. In all of the Club’s activities, we are mindful of cost. The committee works hard to organise different and exciting activities.  .

Thursday 23 & Friday 24 October 2025: Blue Mountains Get Away:

This event is fully booked

A luxury coach tour with Alura Coaches. This coach company comes highly recommended. Visit Blackheath, Govetts Leap Lookout, tour & enjoy high tea at the Hydro Majestic, overnight at Leura Gardens Resort, ride the Zig Zag Railway & lunch at Lithgow. Cost: $473.00pp with $110.00 singles supplement where required. A $100 deposit is required at the August meeting & then Alura will follow up regarding all other arrangements.

🏇🏇 Tuesday 4 November: Melbourne Cup Lunch at The Duck.

Be there at 12:30pm in race day dress or just attend. Lunch & a drink are included in the $85.00pp cost. Join in the sweeps & have a festive time. It is always a fabulous event upstairs at The Duck.

🛥️🛥️ Friday 21 November: Sydney Rotary Regatta Lunch Cruise.

Members thoroughly enjoyed this activity in 2024. A good lunch onboard & the opportunity to have a bird’s eye view of the racing boats. Speak to Rob at the activities table to sign up for this event. Cost: $135pp.

Friday 28 November: Schools Spectacular at Qudos Bank Arena.

In response to the positive reviews from members who attended the 2024 Schools Spectacular, Wendy has organised 12 tickets for this year. The performance starts at 11 am in the Arena; however, attendees can watch SpecFest 2025 musical performances by individual students, marching bands, and ensembles outside the arena from 9:15 am to 10:30 am. As the booking is limited to 12 people, seats will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. A waitlist will be available in case a place becomes available. Information about transport to and from the performance will be available at the Activities desk.

Wednesday 14 January: 2026 Picnic at Balmoral Beach.

Join us at 5 pm under the big tree at the south end of the beach, near the sailing club. Please bring your own picnic & drinks but feel welcome to share pre-dinner nibbles.

While there is a table under the tree, suggest bringing your own chairs & perhaps a table if possible. It is a great chance to celebrate the New Year with friends & get to know new people who are interested in our Club.

Thursday 26 February: A memorable lunch experience at Refettorio,

Sarah has secured a booking for lunch at the Oz Harvest restaurant Refettorio, Surry Hills. At the next Probus meeting, you can put your name on the waiting list for this lunch. The cost of lunch is a donation of at least $30pp, placed in an envelope which you give to the restaurant at the end of the meal. The people on the waiting list will have the first option for the February booking

🆕 18 October (Saturday): Some Enchanted Evening. 2:00 pm performance at the Glen Street Theatre, Belrose.

9 October: A memorable lunch experience at Refettorio, 481 Crown Street, Surry Hills.  This is the OzHarvest restaurant, which uses funds donated by lunch participants to feed people in need.

Tuesday 5 August: Guided Tour of the Archibald Prize at The Art Gallery of NSW (original building).

Friday 11 July: Bastille Day Lunch at The Little Snail Restaurant The Bastille Day lunch was enjoyed by all.

Friday 13 June: Tour of Lucas Heights Discovery Centre (ANSTO) by OnCourse Tours.

Thursday 22 May: Tour of NSW Parliament House in Macquarie Street, Sydney at 11am.

29th & 30th July: Winter Yulefest In Bathurst with Pittwater Probus Club.

Thursday 10 April: Visit the Nan Tien Temple in Wollongong. 

Saturday 15th March:  St Patrick's Day Dinner and concert at Northbridge Golf Club.
