The Club provides a full calendar of events, walks, movie afternoons, lunches, travel opportunities and activities for members. Our December meeting takes the form of a Christmas lunch.
Activities are advertised through the general meetings, the newsletter and this website. In all of the Club’s activities, we are mindful of cost. The committee works hard to organise different and exciting activities. .
2026
Wednesday 14 January: 2026 Picnic at Balmoral Beach.
Join us at 5 pm under the big tree at the south end of the beach, near the sailing club. Please bring your own picnic & drinks but feel welcome to share pre-dinner nibbles.
Whilst there is a table under the tree, we suggest bringing your own chairs & perhaps a table if possible. It is a great chance to celebrate the New Year with friends & get to know new people who are interested in our Club.
Thursday 26 February: A memorable lunch experience at Refettorio,
Sarah has secured a booking for lunch at the Oz Harvest restaurant Refettorio, Surry Hills. At the next Probus meeting, you can put your name on the waiting list for this lunch. The cost of lunch is a donation of at least $30pp, placed in an envelope which you give to the restaurant at the end of the meal. The people on the waiting list will have the first option for the February booking

🆕 18 October (Saturday): Some Enchanted Evening. 2:00 pm performance at the Glen Street Theatre, Belrose.
9 October: A memorable lunch experience at Refettorio, 481 Crown Street, Surry Hills. This is the OzHarvest restaurant, which uses funds donated by lunch participants to feed people in need.

Tuesday 5 August: Guided Tour of the Archibald Prize at The Art Gallery of NSW (original building).
Friday 11 July: Bastille Day Lunch at The Little Snail Restaurant The Bastille Day lunch was enjoyed by all.
Friday 13 June: Tour of Lucas Heights Discovery Centre (ANSTO) by OnCourse Tours.
Thursday 22 May: Tour of NSW Parliament House in Macquarie Street, Sydney at 11am.
29th & 30th July: Winter Yulefest In Bathurst with Pittwater Probus Club.
Thursday 10 April: Visit the Nan Tien Temple in Wollongong.
Saturday 15th March: St Patrick's Day Dinner and concert at Northbridge Golf Club.
