The Probus Club of Mount Gravatt was initially formed as a men's club and then moved to a combined club 1n 2014. The club met for an extended time at the Lions Hall in Sunnybank before changing venues to the Runcorn Tavern. The club changed its name to the Probus Club of Mount Gravatt - Runcorn in 2023 to better reflect its member base and remove confusion for prospective members.
