It dosen't get much better than an afternoon of drinks and finger food at 'Harrisons' at the Sherton Hotel. It was a beautiful sunny afternoon and the ambience was wonderful, sitting looking out over the Sherton's expansive pools. This must be how the tourists feel. How lucky are our members to have all this in our backyard.

13th April 2025

Our members enjoyed a lovely lunch at The Tin Shed, right on Dixons Inlet, before proceeding up to the Clink Theatre for an afternoon show. A local production team put on a very successful show of 'Mama Mia', which was much enjoyed by all attended.

21st March 2025

We had a very successful outing to Mossman Bowls Club. Most of our members had never bowled before so were introduced to Bare Foot Bowling for the first time. It was left to the 'experienced' few to show the rest of us how it worked. There were 18 people in teams of three, and after a little while we even manged to stay in our lanes and soon enough were even getting close to that little white ball. A lot of fun was had and several other members who didn't play came along to cheer us all on.

Everyone retired inside at six o'clock for dinner.
