NEW PROBUS CLUB FORMED IN RA President message Hello to all members, I hope all are well and have avoided the worst of Tropical Cyclone Alfred which appears to have only minimal impacts in our area. At our 1st formal meeting in March, we announced that we have a few key Committee positions to fill to ensure we can all work towards the success of our new club here in Raceview.

Please read the profiles later in this newsletter and consider nominating for these positions at our April meeting. We cannot create a successful club without the input of members and the few positions which are already filled cannot cover all these additional roles, so I ask you to please consider helping in making our club a success. Well, TC Alfred impacted our 1st Activity

- the Limestone Park Walk on the 2nd Monday of March, but we look forward to attempting this again on the 2nd Monday in April — 14 April. The Brothers Leagues Club lunch on St Patricks Day was a great success with 25 members enjoying a good value lunch and some entertainment in the background. We look forward to carrying this forward each month on the 3rd Monday - watch out for our next location.

Finally we need to fill out our activities for 2025 and at our next meeting we will again seek your input to a number of suggestions, so please keep sending in your suggestions to [email protected] and John will coordinate these responses until we get an “Activities Officer” in place.
