The PROBUS CLUB of RAUMATI (Inc). Club # 59440

Our Aim: To provide a club for active retirees and foster friendship, fellowship and fun which is the foundation that we are built on!

The PROBUS Club of Raumati, meets on the last Friday morning of each month, except December, at the Scots Hall, Weka Park, 5 Weka Road, Raumati Beach, Kapiti Coast, at 9.45am. 

Besides the monthly General meetings there are a dozen or so Interest Groups that meet on fixed days of each month. We have diverse groups such as, Art Group, Away Café, Book Group, Card Playing Group, Film Group, Gardening Group, Jigsaw Group, Knitting for Charities Group, Luncheon Group, Music Group, Shows & Concerts Group, Sunday Walkers Group, Ten Pin Bowling Group and Wine Appreciation Group.

2020 was a SPECIAL year as it marked the Club's 25 years Anniversary. Celebrations were planned for an Anniversary luncheon to coincide with our usual mid-year luncheon.

Due to the Covid 19 Pandemic it was organised to hold the Luncheon on the 28th August, this being the closest date to the original creation of the club.

On the day 68 members and invited guests attended the Luncheon at the Boundary and Tap in Raumati. Entertainment was provided by Cam and Sam on their keyboards.
