PUCCINI's BOHÈME ON THE BEACH GLENELG BEACH 26 Mar 2022  7.30 pm

The greatest love story ever told.

State Opera presents Puccini’s epic love story on stage under the stars with a cast of Australia’s best voices and the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra.

It’s Paris, 1930s – the city of love. Young dreamers Mimi and Rudolfo meet – their chemistry is electric. They fall head-over-heels for each other. This is love, this could last forever…!

Meanwhile, his best mates are doing it tough to follow their dreams.  They are all in this together, but what about when a woman gets in the way?

Their highs, lows, loves and losses become the setting for one of opera’s most lush, romantic scores. You’ll fall in love with la vie bohème.

This event is set on the iconic Glenelg Beach.

General Admission areas are on the sand. BYO blanket/cushion.
Please note GA1 & GA2 sections (at the front) cannot accommodate seating of higher than 10cm off the ground.
