                      A 25 year club

The Combined Probus Club of Waverley Gardens leaders.

Our club welcomes visitors and new members.

Our club’s goal is to provide “Fun for Retirees!”.

Our club meets on the last Tuesday each month (except December), commencing at 9:45 am and finishing at 12 noon. (This includes 15 minutes for pre-meeting chat.)

The club was formed in 1999 and currently over 60 active members. The aims of the club are Friendship, Fun and Fellowship.

Meetings consist of reporting on the club's management, quite a bit of chatting and morning teas.
A guest speaker is arranged for most of the meetings. Over the years we have had many interesting and informative presentations.
The speakers are chosen to be both entertaining and informative.

Activities are announced and proposals aired to obtain members’ level of interest.
There is also time for many jokes and stories and some serious chatting as we catch up with the goings-on of friends.

The Club arranges many activities for members throughout the year.

These activities range from morning teas, cards, gardening, cinema and theatre, from daily outings up to extended travel opportunities.
In addition to being mentioned in social chat on our “Intra-Club Only” Facebook, all activities are listed with updates in our monthly newsletter.

The Annual General Meeting is held in March.  At this meeting Executive and Committee members are elected for the next twelve months.
Also, the fees are set.  At the moment the annual fee is $40 and the (once only) joining fee is $30.

(The Annual Fee is paid pro-rata depending on the joining date.)
